Frank from Funda-Mantels was recommended to me by my cabinet fabricator and by my installer. I had a picture of what I wanted and Frank did the rest. He discussed everything with me from wood choices, stain color and spacing between panels. Before anything was done I went to his shop to see samples. His staff are as willing to help and please you as Frank is. I love my fireplace. I highly recommend Funda-Mantels. Frank also did the counter-tops of the surrounding built-ins in matching walnut to my fireplace.

After moving to NY from NC, where most homes have mantels in them, I decided I wanted one for my new condo. I started searching the Web for a company in NY that sold real wooden mantels. I came across Funda-Mantels and contacted them about the types of mantels they carried. After a day of communicating and receiving pictures of all these beautiful mantels from Frank, the owner (who was very attentive to my needs), I was ready to take the 2 1/2 hour drive from Poughkeepsie to Long Island to purchase a mantle for my living room. The whole process of purchasing my mantel went very good. The hardest part was deciding which one to go with as their were so many beautiful mantels to choose from, at the showroom. Frank was VERY patient with me.
